Crash Thursday Night Leaves Milton Man Dead

A single vehicle crash Thursday night just after 11 has left a Milton man dead. Delaware State Police say for unknown reasons the car, driven by 64 year old Joshua Clendaniel went off Route 1 near Lockerman Road near Milton and struck a tree. Police say Clendaniel was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected – he was pronounced dead at the scene. The investigation is continuing.
Radio listeners may remember Josh who was on the air for many years at numerous stations here on Delmarva – including WSEA, WZBH, WOCM, 96 Rock and the Fox.
On a personal note – Josh was one of the nicest people I’ve ever met.
