Construction “Tops Off” At New Howard T. Ennis School

Construction of the new Howard T. Ennis School has reached a milestone.
A ‘topping off’ ceremony was held Wednesday at the construction site. Indian River School District leaders and state officials were joined by students. Many of them signed their name on the last steel beam before it was put into place.
Some guests left messages in tribute to the late Kristina Perfetti, who was serving as principal of Howard T. Ennis School when she passed away last February.
The new Howard T. Ennis School is expected to be open for students in September 2022.
