City of Milford to Cut Ribbon on Memorial Park Pickleball Court, Playground

The City of Milford and the Parks and Recreation Department will cut the ribbon on the new pickleball courts and playground in Memorial Park along the Riverwalk on Thursday, Nov. 9th at 2pm in front of the playground (east of S. Washington St. and basketball court). Designed with a shipbuilding theme in mind, the new playground features slides and swinging and climbing equipment for children of all ages.
The State Bond Bill, sponsored by Senator Wilson and Representatives Postles and Shupe, as well as DNREC’s Outdoor Recreation, Parks and Trails (ORPT) program provided funding for the projects. The public is invited to attend the ribbon-cutting.
