A chilly start to the first week of December will bring a rain and snow mix to Sussex County.
WGMD Accuweather Meteorologist Joe Lundberg says the area will see light precipitation with minimal snow mixed in overnight Monday into Tuesday.
“This evening and overnight there can be some wet snowflakes mixed in,” Lundberg said.
As the colder air works its way to Sussex County this evening and overnight, wet snow will mix with rain as temperatures range in the low 30s across Delmarva.
Temperatures are expected to remain above freezing, so it’s likely that the snow will not amount to anything other than a minor slushy mess at spots across Sussex County.
