Caroline Co. Apartment Fire Leaves 2 Injured

An apartment fire in Caroline County has sent two people to a hospital.
According to the Maryland State Fire Marshal’s Office, the fire broke out Friday at the Greensboro Heights Apartments in Greensboro. Two adults who were taken to University of Maryland Shore Medical Center in Easton have since been treated and released.
Damage to the single-story building is estimated at $150,000. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
Residents of eleven units were displaced because electrical service had to be shut off.
