Cape Henlopen schedules 4 public meetings to discuss $21 million tax referendum

Cape Henlopen School District announcing a slate of community meetings to discuss a proposed $21 million tax referendum. There will be 4 meetings over the next 4 weeks leading up to the March vote, starting next Tuesday at Rehoboth Elementary School. Officials say the tax referendum would pay to build an addition on the high school as well as construct a new middle school in the district.

The meetings all take place at 6:30 PM, and are scheduled as follows:

Tuesday, February 20 – Rehoboth Elementary School

Wednesday, February 28 – Cape Henlopen High School

Monday, March 5 – Milton Elementary School

Thursday, March 15 – Love Creek Elementary School
