UPDATED: Memorial Service set for CAMP Rehoboth co-founder Steve Elkins

UPDATED 3-20-18 –A Memorial Service in Mr. Elkins’s Memory will be held on Monday, April 9, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Epworth UMC, 19825 Holland Glade Road, Rehoboth Beach, DE 19971. Arrangements are being handled by Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium.
Flowers are welcome but, memorial contributions may also be made in Mr. Elkins’s memory to Camp Rehoboth, 37 Baltimore Ave, Rehoboth Beach, DE 19971.

Executive Director and co-founder of CAMP Rehoboth, Steve Elkins died last night after a bout with lymphoma. Elkins spent the past 25 years working as CAMP Rehoboth’s executive director, which helped establish Rehoboth as a widely recognized community with “room for all.” The CAMP Rehoboth Community Center will remain open throughout the day today for people to gather, and grief counselors will be available. Funeral arrangements will be forthcoming.
