Camden-Wyoming Man Charged in Kent County Burglaries
July 24, 2019
An investigation of thefts from homes under construction has led to the arrest of 56 year old Mark Long of Camden-Wyoming. Delaware State Police learned that Long took concrete forms from homes under construction but also was responsible for two separate burglaries on Mud Mill Road in Camden-Wyoming and Sandy Bend Road in Marydel between mid-May and mid-April. Police went into Long’s home with a search warrant and located over $7000 in stolen property from both burglaries. Police also learned some stolen property was pawned at a local pawn shop. Long turned himself in to police on Tuesday – he’s charged multiple offenses including 3rd degree burglary, theft and falsifying business records.
