Cambridge Man Arrested for Gun & Drugs After Traffic Stop in Salisbury

Maryland State Police spotted a SUV speeding on Route 50 and stopped the vehicle in the area of Civic Avenue just before 2:30 Sunday morning.聽 When police contacted the driver, 23 year old Draquan Young of Cambridge, they smelled alcohol and marijuana coming from inside the vehicle.聽 An investigation showed Young was diving under the influence and was arrested.聽 A search of the SUV turned up a loaded handgun under the driver鈥檚 seat. 聽A plastic baggie with marijuana was found during a search of Young, who faces multiple drug and weapons violations.
