Burglary at Longhorn Steakhouse in Dover

The Dover Police Department is investigating a burglary at the chain restaurant Longhorn Steakhouse’s location in Dover, following an early morning incident on July 4th.

Police say an unknown suspect gained entry into the restaurant around 12:54 a.m. by breaking a window into the building. Once inside, the suspect damaged registers in an attempt to gain access to it’s contents. The suspect fled the area in an unknown direction.

It is unclear whether the suspect got away with any money. The investigation is ongoing and there is no suspect description. Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of 1,000 dollars to anyone providing information that leads to an arrest.
