Bridgeville Man Indicted on Charges of Murder by Abuse or Neglect

A Bridgeville man has been indicted on charges of murder by abuse or neglect in connection with the death of his 1 year old son.  Delaware State Police learned that the child was on a ventilator and in the care of his father, 28 year old Michael Lewis of Bridgeville.  The child became unresponsive and was taken by his father to Nanticoke Memorial Hospital where the boy was pronounced dead.  Investigation showed Lewis neglected the proper care of the boy while on the ventilator.  He is being held in default of a $500,000 cash only bond.
