Bridgeville Man Charged after Machete Assault

A Bridgeville man has been arrested after he assaulted a man with a machete.  Delaware State Police were called to Nanticoke Memorial Hospital for an assault – the 55 year old victim from Bridgeville was visiting a friend on Redden Road when 65 year old Augustas Bailey of Bridgeville entered and began threatening to kill the victim – and went after the victim with a machete.  The victim suffered a serious cut to the hand and was later transferred to the Curtis National Hand Center in Baltimore.  Bailey was arrested at his home and charged with 1^st degree assault and other offenses.
