BREAKING & UPDATED: Rt 20/Hardscrabble Road East of REOPENED

UPDATED 2:20pm – Delaware State Police say Hardscrabble Road east of Laurel & Seaford has reopened to traffic.

A crash has closed Hardscrabble Road – Route 20 between Tyndall Road and East Trap Pond Road. Delaware State Police say just before 8am a crash involving multiple vehicles occurred and gallons of tar have spilled onto the roadway. Drivers should look for an alternate route as Hardscrabble Road will be closed for an extended period of time.
