Bethany Beach Town Council Election Saturday
Bethany Beach voters go to the polls on Saturday, September 8th at the Bethany Beach Town Hall from 12 noon until 6pm. Newcomers Faith Denault, James Sirkis, non-resident Larry Fishel are challenging incumbents Bruce Frye, Rosemary Hardiman and Lew Killmer for four seats on the town council – all are 2-year terms. Mayor Jack Gordon did not file for re-election.
All Bethany tax payers are eligible to vote. If your name appears on our tax rolls you can vote by appearing at Town Hall and simply presenting a photo ID.
The Bethany Beach Town Trolleys will be running throughout the day and stopping in front of Town Hall on their routes from 11:30 am to 6:30 pm. And parking spaces in front of Town Hall will be reserved for voters and there will be no enforcement of paid parking regulations in the lot alongside of the Blue Crab or the lot adjoining the Bethany Beach Volunteer Fire Company during the hours the polls are open.
