Bethany Beach Replenishment Picking up Speed

Beach replenishment has picked up in Bethany Beach and sand pumping to the northern town limits has been completed.  The beach will be opened from Third Street north.  The next area where sand will be pumped will be between Third Street to a spot between Campbell Place and Central Boulevard.  The project will be in the middle of Garfield Parkway by Sunday.  At that point, pumping will be moved to the Wellington Parkway area.  Then it will proceed north to Garfield Parkway before moving back to Wellington Parkway and proceeding to the town’s southern border.
