Bethany Beach Council Approve Repeal of Mask Ordinance and July 5th Fireworks

The Bethany Beach Town Council has made it official. The mask ordinance that was put in place last year has been repealed by a unanimous vote during this afternoon’s town council meeting. Face coverings are no longer required on the Boardwalk, Boardwalk Plaza or anywhere in the downtown commercial area. The Council has also approved fireworks, which will be held on July 5th. However several other early summer events have been canceled – including next weekend’s Poseidon Festival, the Annual Bethany Beach Seaside Craft Show and the Fourth of July parade.
