Berlin Electric Plans Power Outages

Berlin Electric is planning several town-wide power outages in the coming days.

The first will take place on Wednesday, June 19 at 12:30 a.m. with a second scheduled for Thursday, June 20 at 12:30 a.m. The outages will take place in order to make essential repairs. Berlin Electric Officials tell WGMD each outage should take between two and three hours each, and both will be weather permitting. That means if there is rain or severe weather in the forecast, they’ll consider rescheduling.

Those with medical or other concerns that require electricity, and do not have access to generator power should make necessary plans prior to the outages.
