Attempted arson in Denton using Molotov cocktails

Attempted arson in Denton last week after Molotov cocktails thrown into a backyard. Maryland’s State Fire Marshall reporting a detached shed on South 6^th Street in Denton was the target of arson after unknown suspects threw two Molotov Cocktails at the structure. One cocktail exploded near the shed, igniting a fire in the backyard; the other hit the shed but did not ignite. The fire in the backyard quickly self-extinguished, and there was no damage to the shed or its contents. The suspects threw the Molotov’s from a moving car, but authorities have little else to go on.
