Annual Maryland Deer Harvest Lower
February 15, 2019
Hunters in Maryland harvested 77,000 deer during the 2018-2019 season – which includes the archery, firearms and muzzleloader seasons. Maryland Natural Resources officials say that number is lower overall and the number of antlerless deer taken represents 60% of the overall harvest. On the Lower Shore counties, over 8400 deer were harvested – about 760 fewer than in the 2017-2018 season.
