Almost 50 Snakes Recovered from Bridgeville House Fire

Dozens of pet snakes were rescued from a Sussex County house fire.
The blaze broke out Sunday afternoon at a home on Walnut Street in Bridgeville. Fire officials tell WGMD say they saved nearly 50 snakes successfully, with no reported injures. There’s no word on what caused the fire.
UPDATE: An earlier version of this article stated nearly 100 snakes were recovered. Later reports indicate it was just under 50 snakes.
