6 Charged with DUI after Weekend Statewide DUI Checkpoints

DUI checkpoints throughout Delaware netted 6 DUI arrests Saturday night. The Office of Highway Safety along with State Police and local law enforcement set up in each county – with five DUI checkpoints. Along with the 6 DUI arrests – police also handed out 96 citations – including the arrest of one wanted person. The next Checkpoint Strikeforce effort will be run on September 1st with 4 DUI checkpoints statewide along with DUI patrols.
