Rally Set for Thursday in Georgetown
If you are upset and worried about the uncontrolled growth in Sussex County that is clogging our roads, making us more vulnerable to flooding and polluting our waterways, join the Sussex County Protest Demonstration on March 10h.聽聽 Add your voice to the Concerned Constituents of Sussex County, along with Sussex2030 and other organizations that are rallying to make sure that County Council and County Commissioners know of our disapproval.`
The Georgetown Town Manager has given us permission to hold a protest rally in front of the Administration Building where County Planning & Zoning Commissioners will meet at 5:00 PM to make their decision on several subdivisions, including Coral Lakes and East Gate. Both proposals include clear-cutting forests and plowing over wetlands. Coral Lakes, if approved, will add another 315 homes to the overwhelming construction that is already taking place along Robinsonville Road.
Please make a sign, or banner, and get engaged. Encourage neighbors, friends, and family to join us. Come out and be a part of something that is too big to be ignored
