4-Vehicle Crash South of Dewey Leaves Lewes Woman Dead

A Lewes woman is dead after a crash just after noon on Route 1 near Key Box Road south of Dewey Beach.   Traffic northbound on Route 1 was stop and go and Delaware State Police say 23 year old Logan Anderson of Lewes failed to see traffic in front of her had slowed and she reared ended a Honda causing a 4-vehicle chain reaction crash.  Police say Anderson was not wearing a seatbelt – and died at Beebe Hospital from her injuries.  All the other drivers and passengers were properly restrained.  Route 1 northbound was closed for nearly 4 hours – the investigation is continuing.
