38-Year-old man Convicted of sexual Abuse of Minor in 2016

Following a two-day trial, 38-year-old Kenny Vansant was convicted of Sexual Abuse of a Minor, Sexual Offense in the Second Degree, and related offenses. According to the Wicomico County State Attorney’s Office, Vansant sexually abused a family member, who was 8 years old in the summer of 2016. Sentencing was deferred pending receipt of a mandatory Pre-Sentence Investigation and mental health assessment. Vansant will remain in custody pending sentencing.
