2024 Maryland Legislative Session Underway

In Maryland, today is the start of the 2024 legislative session, which lasts for 90 days until April 8th. The delegates–Delegate Szeliga and Nawrocki — look forward to introducing a package of bills during the session. These bills include legislation combating crime as well as protecting and supporting women. The delegates will also introduce legislative bond bills to support local funding projects for schools, community associations, and volunteer fire companies.
