UPDATED: 2 Alarm Fire Near Berlin Brings Firefighters from 3 Counties

Berlin firefighters were called to the Exxon Station off Route 50 at Friendship Road just before 11:30 Tuesday morning. Crews arriving found fire on the roof of the building and smoke conditions throughout the inside. A second alarm was struck. Fire crews from Worcester, Wicomico and Sussex Counties responded and were on the scene for over four hours working to extinguish the fire. Worcester County Fire Marshal investigators have not yet determined the caused the fire. No injuries were reported.
Damages are estimated at over $350,000.
