16 Cadets Graduate DOC Basic Officer Training Course

This morning 16 cadets graduated from the DOC’s Basic Officer Training Course.  Eight will join the DOC as Probation officers, five as Correctional Counselors and three as Community Corrections officers.  During the 14-week academy the cadets learn about conditions of supervision, offender assessments, victim services, weapons training and more.
