12th Annual Ride to the Tide Motorcycle Ride Today

The 12th Annual Ride to the Tide for Special Olympics Delaware begins at 11:30 this morning as 1000 motorcycles leave Rommel Harley-Davidson in Smyrna.  They will travel northbound on Route 13 to Smyrna-Leipsic Road, eastbound to Route 9 and then move onto Route 1 south of Dover Air Force Base.  Just north of Lewes, the riders will turn onto Minos Conaway Road to Route 9 (Lewes-Georgetown Highway) and then onto Plantations Road, crossing Route 24 on to Warrington Road and left on to Old Landing Road.  The riders will then return southbound Route 1 and using the bus lane – enter the parking of Jake’s Seafood where the ride ends.

Check in begins at 9:30am – Today’s ride is sold out – there is no walk-up or day-of registration.
