1 Injured in Laurel Area Crash

A Millsboro woman was injured in a single vehicle crash that occurred just before 10:30 Saturday night on Gordy Road near Laurel.  Delaware State Police say the 38 year old driver of a Sentra was driving at a high rate of speed when she failed to stop for a stop sign at Whitesville Road then went off the roadway into a grassy area and struck a ditch.  The driver was not wearing a seatbelt and was taken to PRMC in Salisbury in serious condition.  The investigation is continuing.
