Town of Milton Issues Water Emergency

The Town of Milton has issued a water emergency effective immediately and until further notice, although the town approximates the emergency to last about a day.

The Town of Milton has issued a water emergency effective immediately and until further notice, although the town approximates the emergency to last about a day.

The town says that lawn watering and other irrigation activities are restricted.  The declaration states that “no lawn watering or irrigation of lawns, trees, and shrubbery shall be permitted by any person or business” and “the washing of vehicles with water supplied by the Town of Milton is prohibited.”

Violation of the declaration is punishable by an fine costing no less than $50.
