DE Electric, Choptank Electric Cooperatives Issue Beat the Peak Alert for Later Today
Due to the high temperatures, a Beat the Peak Alert has been issued for 4-6 p.m. today for Delaware Electric Co-op members and from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. for Choptank Electric Cooperative customers. During these alert periods, they ask members to conserve energy with the goal of keeping their electric rates affordable.
