State Fire Marshal Investigating Millsboro Golf Cart Fire

A Millsboro golf cart had an unfortunate demise early Wednesday morning.

The Indian River Volunteer Fire Company says a privately owned golf cart was “squandered with ill intent” from the Pot Nets development.  Fire officials say the cart was driven through the fence and ignited on fire at Bay Farm Road and Trinity Road in Millsboro.

The Delaware State Fire Marshal’s office is investigating the cause and activities surrounding the fire.
