Seaford Police Arrest Man for Firing Stolen Weapon at an Apartment Complex

Seaford Police have arrested a Georgetown man for allegedly firing a stolen weapon at the Chandler Heights Apartments in Seaford.

Seaford Police have arrested a Georgetown man for allegedly firing a stolen weapon at the Chandler Heights Apartments in Seaford.

Witnesses reported a blue GMC Yukon involved in the incident on Friday night, police later found a vehicle matching the description at a Seaford McDonald’s.

Authorities say a search discovered a handgun in a trashcan, later determined to be a stolen weapon.

21-year-old Edward Winder was arrest on several charges; including possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, tampering with evidence and receiving a stolen firearm. He also faces several other traffic violations.
