Salisbury Police report an increase in bike thefts over the last several months.

Salisbury Police report an increase in bike thefts over the last several months.

In a news release, authorities report 43 bike thefts in the southern part of the city since April. 13 suspects have been arrested, with ten of those being juveniles.

Police have offered tips to pay attention to:

- strangers traveling on foot or bicycle in your neighborhood

- groups of juveniles loitering in residential areas where they do not live

- a person or group traveling with extra bicycles

Salisbury Police us asking the public to report any suspicious activity or individuals by calling them at 410-548-3165.
