Salisbury Police Hope to Stop Uptick in Shoplifts

An increase in shoplifts in Salisbury is prompting Salisbury Police to release mugshots and information on arrested suspects.

An increase in shoplifts in Salisbury is prompting Salisbury Police to release mugshots and information on arrested suspects.

Police say during an eight day period, officers responded to several shoplifting calls, resulting in nine arrests.

Police hope that releasing information will lower those numbers.
