Police arrest two, seize over 160 grams of crystal meth in Felton

Two were arrested on drug charges after a traffic stop turned up over 160 grams of crystal meth, cocaine, heroin, and other drugs in Felton.

According to the Felton Police Department, the incident occurred around 3:30 a.m., Thursday as officers tried to stop a Dodge Caravan they saw commit a traffic violation on Route 13.

The truck traveled over two miles before eventually pulling over.

As police made contact with the occupants, 37-year-old Christopher Fray and 20-year-old Margaret Howard, both of Charlottsville, Virginia, an odor of marijuana could be smelled coming from the vehicle.

Police searched the vehicle and located 164 grams of crystal meth, over 10 grams of cocaine, .224 grams of heroin, 10.6 grams of marijuana, and a 12 gauge shotgun.

Fray was committed to the Sussex Correctional Institute in default of $162,502 secured bond.

Howard was committed to Delores J. Baylor Women’s Correctional Institution in default of $161,500 secured bond.
