Odds are Senator Joe Biden will be in Georgetown on Return Day, Thursday November 6th, just as he has done for many celebrations. While his appearance hasn’t been confirmed yet, preparations are under way to tighten security for his visit. Georgetown Chief of Police William Topping said that if he becomes the next vice-president however, security would have to be raised, including restrictions to the parade by limiting the number of vehicles, and pre-registration is required with proper identification.
