Georgetown Man Arrested After Approaching Police Car

A Georgetown man was arrested after he approached a Georgetown police car demanding the officers check his ID.

Police say 44-year-old Johnny Finney approached a parked patrol car and told the officers repeatedly to check his ID card because he didn’t have warrants.  The officers took his ID to do a check, Finney tried to take it back.

Police then conducted a blood alcohol content test and learned Finney was at .13%.  He was arrested for disorderly conduct.
