Duo Arrested After High Speed Chase, Throwing Cocaine Out Window

Dover Police have arrested two men after a high-speed chase Wednesday night.

Police say they were trying to stop 21-year-old Anthony Rollins and 22-year-old Agmere Matthews for a traffic violation.  Instead, Rollins sped away trying to elude police, nearly hitting a Dover police officer.

While Rollins was trying to elude police, Matthews threw out a plastic bag containing crack cocaine.

Rollins was arrested and charged with first-degree reckless endangerment, disregarding a police officer signal, reckless driving, driving without a license, unreasonable speed, and driving while suspended or revoked.  Matthews was arrested and charged with possession with intent to deliver cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and violation of probation.
