A Dover woman was arrested over the weekend after stabbing her boyfriend during an argument.

A Dover woman was arrested over the weekend after stabbing her boyfriend during an argument.

Dover Police say 48-year-old Carla Heath hit her boyfriend in the face and then stabbed him in the hand.  She also took his cell phone during the incident.

The victim was able to get help and was transported to Bayhealth Kent General Hospital where he was treated for his wound.

Heath was arrested without incident, but she had a crack pipe with her when she was arrested.  She has been charged with second-degree assault, theft under $1,500 (Victim 62+), possession of drug paraphernalia, malicious interference with emergency communications, and offensive touching.
