A man wanted by Dover Police has been arrested in Wilmington.

Police say 34-year-old Aaron Brown was wanted for a weekend shooting that happened in broad daylight.  Brown tried giving Wilmington Police a fake name and was found with crack cocaine near a church.

He’s facing possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance with an aggravating factor (within 300 feet of a church), criminal impersonation, possession of drug paraphernalia, and loitering for drug activity charges in Wilmington and 2nd degree assault, carrying a concealed deadly weapon, possession of deadly weapon during commission of felony and possession of firearm by person prohibited charges in Dover.
