Delaware Fire Crew Headed to the Pacific Northwest

A crew of 20 firefighters are headed to Redmond, Oregon to assist with wildfires.

A crew of 20 firefighters are headed to Redmond, Oregon to assist with wildfires.

A spokesperson for the Delaware Forest Service says the crew will leave from Smyrna tomorrow morning at 5:00 a.m.

The crew will likely be assigned to the Pacific Northwest or Northern California, where a surge of wildfires has prompted a nationwide standby alert.
