DelDOT will officially be increasing the weekend tolls on DE 1 to $3.

DE Route 1 Tolls to Increase August 1st

DelDOT will officially be increasing the weekend tolls on DE 1 to $3.

The increase will take effect August 1st and will raise the weekend toll by a dollar, but keeps the weekday rate the same at $1.

Route 1 Toll Rates

Class 2 Passenger Vehicle $1 (Weekday)/$3 (Weekend)
Class 3 Vehicle $3 (Weekday)/$5 (Weekend)
Class 4 Vehicle $4 (Weekday)/$6 (Weekend)
Class 5 Vehicle $5 (Weekday)/$7 (Weekend)
Class 6 Vehicle $6 (Weekday)/$8 (Weekend)
Wide Load Permit Vehicle $11 (Weekday and Weekend)

Delaware E-ZPass customers will also continue to receive current discount rates. The 50 percent discount for frequent passenger vehicle users who meet the standard of 30-trips-in-30-days will remain in effect. Additionally, commercial vehicles using E-ZPass will continue to receive a 25 percent discount.

Weekend rates are in effect from 7 p.m. Fridays to 11 p.m. Sundays.
