Dagsboro Woman Found with Syringes During Walmart Theft Attempt

Georgetown Police arrested a 23-year-old Dagsboro woman after she tried getting free gift cards and got caught with drug paraphernalia.

Police say 23-year-old Jamie Esham took several items and returned them for their cash value on a gift card.  Esham was successful on one transaction, but was denied the second time.

Police contacted Esham in her car while she was still in the parking lot and noticed she had empty baggies normally used to store heroin and syringes.

Police arrested Esham and charged her with theft by false pretense and possession of drug paraphernalia.
