NRA President David Keene and former NRA President and current Delaware Republican Party Chairman John Sigler hosted a cast of thousands Sunday at a 2nd Amendment Freedom Rally at the Modern Maturity Center in Dover.

Both men took shots at President Obama’s gun safety proposals that call for a ban on military-type assault weapons and high capacity magazines. Keene and Sigler also targeted Gov. Jack Markell’s five-point gun safety legislation introduced last week.

The NRA leaders say they believe the gun safety proposals are an infraction against rights granted by the 2nd amendment.
