Two Wilmington Men Charged with Drug & Weapons Offenses

State Police checked on a suspicious vehicle in a motel parking lot on South Market Street in Wilmington and arrested two men for drugs and guns.  Troopers approached the vehicle and the five people inside and found none of them were guests at the motel.  While police verified the information from the people in the car – 2 men got out and began walking away.  Police stopped them – 19 year old Charles Hargroves of Wilmington was found with a loaded .22 caliber handgun and 13 bags of heroin and he’s wanted on 2 active warrants.  20 year old Antwine Jackson of Wilmington was also wanted on 2 active warrants and in possession of a small amount of marijuana.  Police also found 12 bags of heroin and 4 grams of crack cocaine in the patrol vehicle Jackson was transported in.  Both are at the Howard R Young Correctional institution in default of cash bail.
