Delaware Governor Jack Markell will spend part of his Thanksgiving Day delivering hot holiday meals to homebound seniors.

Beginning at 10:45 this morning at the St. Anthony's Community Center in Wilmington, Governor Markell will join volunteers with City Fare Meals on Wheels to deliver hot, nourishing Thanksgiving meals to seniors and other homebound residents in New Castle County who can't cook meals for themselves. The Governor and Meals on Wheels volunteers will make their first two deliveries to the Antonion on West 10th Street, just down the street from the community center.

City Fare Meals on Wheels is a program that's been run by St. Anthony's Community Center since 1986. Clients not only get hot, healthy meals, but also professional case management.
