3 Arrested After Assault, Robbery Tuesday In Salisbury

Jan 11, 2013 -- 1:16pm

Three people have been arrested for an assault and robbery in Salisbury earlier this week, and police say they expect to make more arrests.

Salisbury Police met Tuesday night with a man who was being treated at PRMC for injuries he sustained when he was attacked near the corner of Parsons Road and Fairground Drive. Police say the man was initially attacked by just one person, but then brought in about 10 other people, who began punching and kicking the man. The attackers then stole electronics and other items before running away.

Police carried out search warrants at homes on Booth Street and Jersey Road Wednesday, and then arrested 18-year-olds Brian Jones, Levontre West and Davonte Mitchell, all of Salisbury. They’ve been charged with robbery, second degree assault, theft under $1,000, reckless endangerment and conspiracy. Anyone with information about this attack is asked to call Salisbury Police at (410) 548-3165, or Crime Solvers at (410) 548-1776.
