Nov 15, 2013 -- 8:54pm

Another case of the flu has been confirmed in Delaware.  The first laboratory confirmed case of the flu has been found in Delaware.  This was in Kent County – and is the second case of the flu in the First State for the 2013-2014 season.  A man between the age of 30 and 40 was tested for the flu on November 9 – he did not have a flu shot, but also did not require hospitalization.  Of the 2 flu cases – both people were sick with the A-strain.  Division of Public Health officials urge everyone to get a flu shot – there’s plenty of vaccine available through doctors, pharmacies and even some grocery stores.  There are also some public flu clinics scheduled.  You’ll find them a flu.delaware.gov
