Oct 19, 2013 -- 2:41pm

A Wilmington woman will be facing DUI and vehicular assault charges when she's released from the hospital following a crash on Route 202 outside Wilmington.

Delaware State Police say just before 7 o'clock Friday night, 46-year-old Kimberly Mauk of Wilmington was driving south on Concord Pike (U.S. 202) in her Honda Odyssey minivan, and turned left at the intersection with Fairfax Boulevard. Troopers say she turned left into the path of a northbound Honda Accord. The man who was driving the car was taken to Christiana Hospital to be treated for injuries that weren't life-threatening. The woman who was in the front passenger seat was admitted in critical condition. A 3-year-old boy and a 15-month-old girl were treated for minor injuries. Mauk was also admitted into Christiana for non-life-threatening injuries. The crash closed the intersection of Concord Pike and Fairfax Boulevard for about three hours.

When Mauk is released from the hospital, she'll be charged with her fourth DUI, and two counts each of first and second-degree vehicular assault.
